ABOUT ME

When I turned 50, I made a quiet but powerful decision: this would be my decade of return - to myself. I knew there was more to life than constant stress, responsibility, and living in survival mode. What began as a personal need for relief became a deep journey of healing, curiosity, and remembrance - one that ultimately shaped the foundation of Anchor + Rise.

Through somatic yoga, breathwork, energy healing, and subconscious reprogramming, I slowly unwound years of stored tension and old identities. I didn’t change who I was, I came back to myself. From a chronically overextended litigator, I became a woman rooted in her body, connected to her inner wisdom, and at peace in a way I hadn’t known was possible.

Today, I guide other women - especially those in midlife transitions - who feel the same quiet knowing that something more is calling. This work is about slowing down, reconnecting with your body, and creating a life that feels spacious, meaningful, and true. My role isn’t to fix or push you, it’s to help you remember what’s already within you and support you as you rise into your next chapter with clarity, trust, and ease.

From Courtroom to Healing Space: My Path to Anchor + Rise

For more than two decades, I worked as a divorce attorney advocating for women during some of the most vulnerable and emotionally charged moments of their lives. My work focused largely on domestic violence cases, where I witnessed firsthand how trauma lives not just in the mind, but in the body and nervous system. It was meaningful, purpose-driven work, and it also came with an immense emotional toll.

In 2002, everything changed. A client I had worked closely with was tragically murdered, a loss that shook me to my core and forced me to confront my own mortality, priorities, and sense of purpose. At the same time, I was navigating my own divorce, co-parenting, and the relentless pace of a high-pressure legal career. I was functioning, but deeply disconnected - exhausted in my body, living in survival mode, and quietly wondering how I had drifted so far from myself.

That period became a turning point. I transitioned into healthcare administration, leading violence intervention programs at a major Boston medical center. There, I saw the undeniable connection between trauma, chronic stress, and physical health. I also saw what was missing in traditional systems: space for regulation, embodiment, and true healing. This realization opened the door to my own healing journey and ultimately to the work I do today.

Anchor + Rise was born from this lived experience. Through somatic yoga, breathwork, subconscious reprogramming, energy healing, and nervous system support, I now help others reconnect with their bodies, restore balance, and create a life that feels grounded, aligned, and sustainable. This work isn’t about fixing what’s broken, it’s about remembering what’s already whole, and learning how to live from that place.

Today, I live a life that feels deeply aligned, and my work is an extension of that truth.

Although I returned to litigation in 2022, it became clear that something was still unresolved. I continued to tend to my own healing, addressing the long-held impacts of divorce, chronic stress, and the profound grief of losing a client. That continued inward journey brought clarity, integration, and a deeper sense of wholeness.

Through this process, I experienced firsthand the transformative power of somatic practices, subconscious reprogramming, breathwork, and energy healing. I learned that the peace, clarity, and joy we often search for outside ourselves are already within us, waiting to be accessed through the body, the breath, and the nervous system. These practices didn’t just support my healing; they reshaped how I live and how I guide others.

Today, I’m happily remarried, my daughters are grown, and I’m fully inhabiting this next chapter with presence and purpose. Through Anchor + Rise, I support women, especially those in midlife transitions, who are ready to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and create a life that feels grounded, spacious, and true. My work blends somatic yoga, breathwork, energy healing, and subconscious support to help you regulate, restore, and rise, without forcing or fixing.

I live by the ocean in Newburyport, Massachusetts, where my mornings begin with Kundalini yoga, cold plunges, and quiet moments of reflection. Creativity is a vital part of my life, whether I’m making cards, experimenting in the kitchen, or dreaming into what’s next. I believe life isn’t about doing more, it’s about feeling more alive. And I’m here to help you reconnect with that aliveness and step into your next chapter with trust and ease.
